Gusts of up to 80mph are expected to cause power cuts and travel chaos as weather warnings have been issued across Scotland.
A yellow warning has been issued for parts of Scotland, starting from noon Monday until 3pm on Tuesday.
The Highlands, Moray and Aberdeenshire are expected to be most affected, with ferry crossing also expected to be disrupted.
The Forth Road bridge is currently operating on a 40mph speed limits due to the high winds.
Network Rail has already warned how the high winds could lead to speed restrictions on trains.

The Queensferry Crossing @NewForthBridge now has a 40mph Speed restriction in place due to the High Winds.
The Met Office said: "Very strong winds are expected to affect northern and parts of eastern Scotland on Monday and Monday night.
"Gusts of 65 to 75 mph are likely, particularly in the far north and northeast, before winds gradually ease from the west during Tuesday."
