The nominations for the Bafta TV awards have been announced.

The Big Narstie Show, The Last Leg, A League Of Their Own and Would I Lie To You? are all nominated for best comedy entertainment programme.

Killing Eve leads the nominations with 14 nods, while A Very English Scandal has been nominated for 12 awards.

The drama starring Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh will compete against ratings juggernaut Bodyguard in the best drama series category, alongside Informer and Save Me.

Comer and Oh are both nominated in the leading actress category, alongside Keeley Hawes for Bodyguard and Ruth Wilson for Mrs Wilson.

Benedict Cumberbatch is nominated in the leading actor category for Patrick Melrose, alongside Hugh Grant for A Very English Scandal, Chance Perdomo for Killed By My Debt and Lucian Msamati for Kiri.

Ant & Dec are nominated for best entertainment performance for Saturday Night Takeaway and will compete against David Mitchell and Lee Mack, who are both nominated for Would I Lie To You?, as well as Rachel Parris, who is nominated for The Mash Report.

Saturday Night Takeaway is also nominated for best entertainment programme, alongside Britain's Got Talent, Michael McIntyre's Big Show and Strictly Come Dancing.

The BBC's coverage of the royal wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex has also been nominated for a Bafta in the live event category, alongside Open Heart Surgery: Live, Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance and Stand Up To Cancer.

Good Morning Britain's exclusive interview with Meghan's father Thomas Markle is nominated in the news coverage category, alongside the show's On A Knife Edge reporting.

Hawes is nominated for a second gong, this time in the supporting actress category, for Mrs Wilson, where she will compete with Fiona Shaw for Killing Eve, Monica Dolan for A Very English Scandal and Billie Piper for Collateral.

Ben Whishaw is nominated in the best supporting actor category for A Very English Scandal, alongside Kim Bodnia for Killing Eve, Alex Jennings for Unforgotten and Stephen Graham for Save Me.
