But the remembrance of the Celtic star is not set to stop there.

Roads in Glasgow are set to close today to make way for McNeill's funeral procession as it heads to Celtic Park.

For years, Hoops supporters have used the stadium to pay tribute to Celtic heroes including Jimmy Johnstone, Tommy Gemmell and Tommy Burns.

Large crowds are expected to line the streets in respect of the former Celtic captain and manager, meaning road restrictions will be put in place.
