A leaked document claiming to show a traffic warning report around Celtic Park for Monday has been confirmed as a hoax.

It was claimed that Celtic were to parade their new manager on Monday after the document surfaced. However, a spokesperson for the council confirmed to The Herald that it was a fake.

And the Council took to Twitter to confirm to those that had fallen for the prank writing: "You might have seen a screenshot of a council traffic bulletin that says London Road will be closed to make way for crowds in front of Celtic Park on Monday afternoon ... Sorry to disappoint, but it's a fake."

The fake document supposedly from Glasgow City Council warned of "large crowds" at the stadium, and that there will be traffic restriction as a result.
