Police investigating the disappearance of a 29-year-old woman have confirmed that a body has been recovered.
Billie Mullen went missing from the East Kilbride area on Saturday afternoon.
Officers said that around 8pm on Wednesday, the body of a woman was found within wooded area near to Lickprivick Road, East Kilbride. They are treating the death as unexplained.

A police spokeswoman said: "A formal identification has still to take place however the family of Ms Mullen has been informed about the recovery.
"A post mortem examination will take place to establish the exact cause of death and police are treating the death as unexplained at this time.
"A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
