Nurses are national heroes just now - but that hasn't stopped criminals in Glasgow from stealing their bikes.
Now Glaswegians and companies based in the city have joined forces to help out frontline workers whose bicycles have been pinched.
In recent days, two nurses have shared their stories on Twitter and been inundated with offers of help.
Yesterday, Graeme Boyle, said his white Genesis Croixdefer had been stolen from the close of his flat in Langside.
"I'm a nurse working specialist Covid-19 admissions unit at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and somebody's just made my life harder," he wrote.
Locals then offered to lend him a bike and businesses said he could have a loan of their cycles, free of charge.

"We have e-bikes you're welcome to borrow for a couple of months, we'd be happy to help," the Glasgow-based community project On Bikes tweeted.
"Can I help you with a temporary replacement bike in the short term?" asked Ali Campbell, chairman of the Campbell.
"I have a bike hire fleet of hybrids. At least it would get you about."
Other Glasgow folk raked through Gumtree to see if the stolen bike was being offered for sale, but have not yet found it.
Another Twitter user with the handle LozzaOHara was also targeted by thieves.
She wrote: "I work in ICU at Glasgow QEUH and my commute to work is cycling.
"My bike was stolen outside the hospital during my shift today. Please keep an eye out"

Lucia Walker, a senior producer at Channel 4 News, then wrote: Oh for goodness sake! Genuinely mean this.
"If you need a bike - you can have mine for the foreseeable - I’m certainly not using it."
The bike chain Halfords also promised to "look into this further".

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
