IN the midst of lockdown due to a global pandemic, nature may have felt especially distant on Earth Day’s 50th anniversary - but Herald readers and their families still used the occasion to appreciate our planet from home.

On Wednesday, we invited you and your family to release your creativity from lockdown and illustrate, draw or paint the perfect picture of how you wish our planet to look. And the results were fantastic.
