Teenager charged after Shetland pony found 'stabbed to death' in West Lothian
A teenage boy has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a Shetland pony in Broxburn.
The pony was found dead in a field behind Roman Camp Cottages, Broxburn, around 11am on Monday, 8 June, 2020.
Local reports suggested that the pony suffered from a number of stab wounds with police launching a probe following the incident.
He is due to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court today.
