A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the murder of Justin McLaughlin in Glasgow.

Justin, 14, was found seriously injured at High Street train station around 3.45pm on Saturday, October 16 and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Enquiries remain ongoing following the arrest and the public can still submit information via an online portal. 

Police Scotland have advised thatt he Major Incident Public Portal (MIPP) is a website that gives the public access to a form so they can send information directly to the major incident teams based at the Scottish Crime Campus and anyone with further information can report it here.

Members of the public can still submit information via an online portal.

High Street station remains closed today and a total of 123 train service updates have been issued in relation to trains between Edinburgh and Helensburgh, and Balloch and Airdrie.

Although the route has been reopened, High Street station will remain closed until approximately 6pm on Monday and trains will not stop there. Passengers who normally travel from High Street are advised to travel to and from Glasgow Queen Street.

Tributes have been seen at the station, including bunches of flowers, following the death of the teenager.
