GLASGOW Warriors have signed utility-back Tom Jordon from the Ayrshire Bulls Super6 franchise on a short-term deal for an unspecified period of time. The 23-year-old New Zealander, who will qualify to play for Scotland through the three-year residency rule next October, is a familiar face around Scotstoun having trained with the Warriors during lockdown.

Jordan was a key player for the Bulls during their recent Super6 title-winning campaign. He started out playing at inside-centre, but it was after his switch to stand-off that the Millbrae men really clicked into gear during the second half of the season. The playmaker’s performance in the play-off final against Southern Knights at the DAM Health Stadium last month earned him the man-of-the-match award.

“I really like to chuck the ball around and put others in space, so I’m looking forward to playing the Glasgow style of rugby and playing some heads-up footy,” said Jordan.
