Five people have been arrested in connection with the death of a man found injured in the east end of Glasgow.

Craig Watson was pronounced dead at Whitevale Gardens, Dennistoun, just after midnight on Sunday morning, shortly after being discovered badly hurt.

Three male teenagers, aged 15, 17 and 19 years old, and two men, aged 20 and 30 years old, have been arrested.

Mr Watson was found in the residential area after becoming involved in what police believe was an “altercation with a number of people”.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing, Police Scotland said.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Five men aged 15, 17, 19, 20 and 30 years have been arrested in connection with the death of 39-year-old Craig Watson in Whitevale Gardens, Dennistoun, Glasgow on Sunday, April 17.”
