THE final preparations are well underway for the ceremony that will present King Charles's with the Honours of Scotland.

Earlier today the Church of Scotland released the Order of Service for the Service of Thanksgiving and Dedication at St Giles’ on Wednesday.

It will feature aspects of ancient Scottish royal tradition along with a psalm sung in Gaelic and the use of passages from the New Testament in Scots.
