One of Scotland’s major trunk roads has been closed this morning after a crash.
Motorists are being advised to find alternative routes after a two-vehicle crash on the A75 this morning.
It happened in the Creetown area, near Castle Douglas at around 7:15 am, with emergency services attending shortly after.
The road remains closed, and members of the public are being asked to avoid the area.

A spokesperson for the road’s operators Amey Southwest Trunk Roads said: “Both directions at Creetown - At Castle Carey Holiday Park - are currently closed due to an RTC.
"Traffic is being managed through the lay by with stop and go. Approach with care and expect delays in the area."
