Two Scottish stadiums are in the running to host the Women's World Cup.
STV has reported that two venues have been included in an official bid from the United Kingdom to host the sporting event, including Hampden Park in the Southside and Easter Road in Edinburgh.
If the bid is successful, the games in 2035 will be played in a total of 22 stadiums in 15 cities across Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The four UK associations officially submitted their bid to the organiser FIFA on Friday, with no other bidders.

Shirley Martin, the Scottish Football Association’s head of girls’ and women’s football, told STV: “Hosting the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2035 would be transformational for girls’ and women’s football in Scotland.
“This bid is about far more than securing a global tournament — it’s about creating long-lasting opportunities, inspiring the next generation, and showcasing the incredible potential of our players, coaches, volunteers and communities.
“Scotland has a proud footballing heritage and a rapidly growing women’s game, and we believe we can deliver a tournament that is innovative, inclusive and truly world-class.
“It would be a momentous milestone for the women’s game in Scotland and we are ready to rise to that challenge.”
