Two Edinburgh restaurants are offering a new “kids eat free” promotion during the Easter holidays.

Morningside’s McLarens on the Corner will run the offer from April 7-21, Monday to Friday, with one free children’s main course available per paying adult.

The deal includes a choice of mains such as fish and chips, bangers and mash, macaroni cheese and a cheeseburger with chips.

McLarens is known for being both family and dog-friendly, with accessible facilities on both floors.

In the Grassmarket, Cold Town House will run its own kids eat free offer from April 3-20, Sunday to Thursday, with meals served until 9pm.

Both offers are available for children aged 10 and under when accompanied by an adult dining from the main menu. Children must order from the kids’ menu.

Advance booking is required.

Both restaurants are owned and operated by the Signature Group, an Edinburgh-based hospitality company with more than 20 venues across Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, St Andrews and Bridge of Allan.
