Edinburgh’s hotels and hospitality professionals have picked up major honours at this year’s Prestige Hotel Awards.
Venues and staff from across the capital secured wins and multiple highly recommended accolades at the annual ceremony celebrating Scotland’s hospitality industry.

Claire McLoughlin, general manager at Leonardo Royal Edinburgh, was named Best General Manager, while Jo Smith from The Edinburgh Grand won Best Concierge.
The Edinburgh Grand also received highly recommended recognition in the Best Hotel Bar, Best Hotel Restaurant and Best 5* Hotel categories.
Other Edinburgh venues recognised included The Scott – UOE Collection for Best Boutique Hotel, Point A Edinburgh for Best Value Accommodation, Heeton Concept Aparthotel for Best Team, and DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh City Centre for both Best Events/Conference Hotel and Best Wedding Hotel.
The ninth annual awards ceremony took place at the DoubleTree Hilton in Glasgow and was attended by around 550 tourism and hospitality professionals from across Scotland.
Other winners from across Scotland included House of Gods in Glasgow for Best Hotel Bar.
JA Mar Hall Golf & Spa Resort won Best Golf Hotel, Western House Hotel in Ayr secured Best Afternoon Tea, and Glasgow Marriott Hotel took home Best Hotel Renovation.

Oban Bay Hotel was named Best Coastal Hotel, while Kingshouse Hotel in Glencoe won Best Country Hotel.
Riverside Lodge Hotel in Irvine secured Best Team, The Fenwick Hotel in East Ayrshire was highly recommended for Best Value Accommodation, and The Cairndale Hotel and Spa in Dumfries won Best 3* Hotel.
Seamus Coen of Rusacks St Andrews also received the Outstanding Contribution award.
Warren Paul, awards director, said: "This is one of our real flagship events with a lot of eyes on the results not only in Scotland and the UK, but in Europe and beyond."

Mr Paul added: "It feels standards have increased even further – the cost of living crisis means people are more careful spending money so there's pressure to be even better, more appealing.
