UPDATE: Services are now returning to normal as of 3pm.

A signal fault on a busy Glasgow Central train line is causing major disruption for train travellers.

Network Rail engineers are on site, trying to locate and fix the fault.

ScotRail has advised that all Cathcart Circle services are suspended on both the inner and outer lines.

It's unclear how long the disruption could last; however, services to and from Neilston and Newton are running, but may be disrupted.
