A theatre show with an all-star cast, which was called off an hour before the curtain was due to be lifted at the King's Theatre last night, will go ahead as planned for the remaining dates.
The show, based on a 1990s sitcom, is coming to the end of a tour across the country.
The High Life: The Musical – Still Living It! starring Forbes Masson, Siobhan Redmond and Alan Cumming, is a new, camp musical revival of the 1990s BBC Scotland sitcom The High Life, following ageing Air Scotia cabin crew who must prove they are still “fit for purpose” after the airline is sold, or see it scrapped for good.

Last night, after the matinee show went ahead, the award-nominated show was cancelled at short notice.
The theatre shared the news on social media on Wednesday evening but gave no further details, only that the cancellation was due to "unforeseen circumstances."
Now, the reason behind the cancellation has been revealed, and those with tickets for upcoming performances will see them as they are all set to go ahead.

A spokesperson for the National Theatre of Scotland told The Herald: "Regrettably, due to a family emergency affecting a key member of The High Life the Musical team, the performance on Wednesday 20 May at 7.30pm had to be cancelled at very short notice.
"We are hugely sorry about this and the disappointment that we know that this will have caused. This was not a decision that was taken lightly, or without exploring every possibility to go ahead with the performance.
"All further scheduled performances of The High Life the Musical will proceed as planned and all ticketholders have been contacted directly by ATG Entertainment."
A 'comprehensive' restoration project at Glasgow’s beloved King’s Theatre was completed in February.
Glasgow-based construction firm Insite Contracts said it has "meticulously revitalised the theatre’s historic façade and external features, ensuring its grandeur for generations to come".
The restoration project was undertaken on behalf of Trident Building Consultancy, the project managers for the restoration works, and their client ATG Entertainment, the current operators of the King's Theatre.
It encompassed a wide range of specialist restoration works, including: stone façade repairs; roof repairs; restoration of the theatre's windows; enhancing the theatre’s external illumination; a full building sandstone clean; revitalizing the theatre’s entrances and new period sign writing to entrances.
