Rail passengers are facing disruption after a signalling fault between Dumbarton East and Dumbarton Central affected services on routes towards Helensburgh and Balloch.
Train operators said engineers from Network Rail Scotland are currently on site working to resolve the issue, which has caused delays and potential cancellations.
Passengers are being advised to check the latest service updates before travelling, with real-time information available through the operator’s website and mobile app.

The fault is impacting services running through the affected section of track, a key link for routes along the Clyde coast.
No timescale has yet been given for when normal services will resume.

Scotrail said on social media: "We have reports of a signalling fault between Dumbarton East and Dumbarton Central affecting services going towards Helensburgh and Balloch.
