An Inverness volunteer who has dedicated more than five years to supporting people affected by blood cancer has been recognised at a national awards ceremony.
Mike Taylor received a long service award from Lymphoma Action during the charity's Volunteer Recognition Awards on Monday, June 1.
The awards celebrate volunteers who give their time, skills and experience to help support people living with lymphoma and their families.
Mr Taylor has volunteered in a range of roles with the charity, including serving as a Facebook support group moderator, buddy, support meeting facilitator and member of Lymphoma Action's Insights Panel.
Drawing on his own experiences of living with lymphoma, he helps provide support to others while also contributing to the development of the charity's services.

Mr Taylor said: "It was an honour to receive the award.
"Over my 26 years of treatment, I have received a lot of help from different sources.
"Now that I am out the other end, I feel that I can give back and support others as they navigate their lymphoma journeys."
