A toy museum in Callander has swapped nostalgia for nightmares after becoming the filming location for a new British horror movie.
The Hamilton Toy Museum & Collectors Shop was transformed into the set for Robert Returns, the latest instalment in the cult horror franchise centred on the haunted doll Robert.
The family-run attraction provided the backdrop for a key period-set opening scene in the film, with cast and crew spending a full day filming among its extensive collection of historic toys.
The Hamilton Toy Museum houses one of the UK's largest privately owned collections of toys, showcasing more than 175 years of history across five exhibition rooms.
Its distinctive displays made it an ideal location for the latest chapter in the Robert franchise, which first launched in 2015.
Robert Returns is expected to be released in early 2027 and introduces a new chapter in the story of the infamous haunted doll.
The film stars Elle O'Hara, Iona McGill, Stephen Kerr and Nathan Shepka.
The cast also includes Annabelle Lanyon, known for her role alongside Tom Cruise in Ridley Scott's Legend, together with Lee Bane and Ian Plunkett.
The production is financed by IMP Studios and 4Digital Media, with Shepka Productions and Flickering Myth serving as production partners.
The companies have previously collaborated on gothic horror film The Baby in the Basket and the upcoming thriller Death Among the Pines, which is due for UK release in September.
The original Robert franchise was created by the late filmmaker Andrew Jones and includes The Curse of Robert the Doll, The Toymaker, The Legend of Robert the Doll and Robert Reborn, all of which are currently available to stream on Netflix.
The Hamilton Toy Museum remains one of Callander's most distinctive visitor attractions, welcoming guests with its extensive collection of toys and collectibles spanning nearly two centuries.

Robert Returns is scheduled for release in the UK and United States in early 2027.
