Two people were taken to hospital following a crash involving two cars on the A85 between Methven and Crieff.

The collision happened at around 11.35am on Friday, August 7, 2026, and involved a grey BMW and a blue BMW.

Emergency services attended and both drivers were taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment.

Road policing officers are now appealing for information as enquiries into the circumstances of the crash continue.

Sergeant John McDiarmid of the Road Policing Unit said: “I would appeal to anyone who witnessed what happened and has not yet spoken to police, to please contact us.

"We are also keen to obtain any dash-cam footage from motorists who may have been driving on the road at the time of the crash."
