A historic hotel in the Scottish Highlands has been sold to a private investor after seven years under its previous owner.
The Roy Bridge Hotel is a traditional coaching inn dating back to the 1850s in the village of Roy Bridge in the north-west Highlands.
The hotel has 15 guest rooms, a bar and a restaurant with capacity for around 50 diners.
It has long provided a base for visitors exploring Lochaber and attractions including Ben Nevis and the Nevis Range.
Ten of the 15 bedrooms are en suite.
The property also includes four recently developed accommodation lodges, a large beer garden and a shared car park.
The hotel is located in a popular tourist area and attracts visitors seeking outdoor activities including canoeing, kayaking, hill walking and mountain biking.
Its proximity to Fort William and Nevis Range Mountain Resort adds to its appeal as a base for visitors to the area.
The previous owner had run the hotel since 2017 before selling the property to retire.
The sale was managed by Tony Spence and Brian Sheldon of Christie & Co's hospitality team.
The sale price has not been disclosed.
