Trains on a busy route in Glasgow were off for the morning rush on Tuesday due to a fault being detected.

A signalling issue between Glasgow Central and Maxwell Park meant that trains are unable to operate on the Cathcart circle in the south side.

Trains going from Glasgow Central to Newton via Maxwell Park were redirected via Queen's Park; while all services on the Cathcart circle were suspended.
