Saving the day

RUGBY: Old Walcountians could still be playing in London League Three South West next term despite losing their last match of the season on Saturday against Purley John Fisher. The OWs went down 12-19 but could still be saved from the drop by the league's organisers who have suspended relegation until a decision on whether to expand the league is taken in May.

Schools defeat

FOOTBALL: Sutton Schools under 11s narrowly missed out on lifting the Surrey Schools Football Championships on Saturday. A 2-1 defeat at the hand of Kingston knocked Sutton into the runners up spot behind Croydon who lifted the title by just two points.
