The body of a man has been found on a beach in Fife on Wednesday morning. 

Officers were called to Kirkcaldy promenade at around 7am this morning, July 14.

The Daily Record reports part of the footpath on the promenade had been sealed off following the discovery and emergency services would be still at the scene.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7am on Wednesday, 14 July, police received a report of the body of a man found on the beach at Kirkcaldy.

“Emergency services are in attendance and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
