Scotland records more than 3,000 new Covid cases and 13 deaths overnight
SCOTLAND has recorded 13 coronavirus deaths and 3,052 new cases in the past 24 hours, the latest Scottish Government figures show.
The death toll under this daily measure – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – now stands at 9388.
The daily test positivity rate is 10.1 per cent, up from yesterdays 9.8 per cent.
A total of 780 people were in hospital with recently confirmed Covid, up 21 in 24 hours, with 59 patients in intensive care, up four.
So far, 4,326,637 people have received their first dose of a Covid vaccination and 3,924,305 have had a second.
