World Snow Day might not be a day you have heard of before, but it soemthing that 44 countries around the globe will take part in this year
Organised by the International Ski Federation, it is part of a campaign to introduce children to snow and to sports that take place on snow, and it will take place on January 16 this year.
As part of this you may be inspired to get involved with such alpine activities and there are a number of clothes that will need to be worn for the task.
We've highlighted a number of items that would be useful for skiiing or other alpine sports, as well as winter clothes in general.
Clothes to buy for World Snow Day

This has 56% off on the Decathlon website at the moment, down from £229.99 to £99.99.
Additionally, if you are looking to get your very youngest interested in snow sports then Selfridges have some Toddler’s Whitney II logo-print shell snow boots for one to three year old.
They are on the pricy side costing £80, but they are woven with 200g worth of insulation and have removable molded EVA footbed with micro-fleece top-cover.
