REGARDING John Milne’s letter (October 15) that I read on the ponderous train to Wick today I couldn’t help but notice we have massive amounts of empty, prime tree-planting land in our backyard. How about the Scottish Government embarking on a project to restore the Caledonian forest and fill our land with trees again?
