Georgia have followed the current trend of 3-5-2, placing a lot of reliability on both wing backs to create overloads.

The Georgians were poor against Republic of Ireland (there is no excuse for having 40% possession and five attempts on goal in a home European qualifier against a team you would fancy your chances against).

One thing that particularly stands out for me is that they have weaknesses at the back and are vulnerable to anticipation and pace, something that Steven Fletcher and Stevie Naismith will relish, and which will also suit Stevie May if he makes an appearance.

Levan Mchedlidze is a big loss for Georgia in regards to attacking options. The scourge of Alex McLeish's side in 2007, he has creativity, movement and intelligence leading the line.

There is no doubt in my mind that their key player and best player is Jano Ananidze, who is currently playing for Spartak Moscow. Jano is an inside forward playing on the left, looking always to cut in on his right foot.

He has an excellent centre of gravity and probes opportunities very quickly. Personally I think it's important Scotland show him down the line and cut off any possible options to cut in and be direct.

This match is massive for Scotland, in my opinion the biggest match of the group simply because this is the day when you look at the league table and you can't decide if it's one point or three points that is to be expected.

Georgia will also fancy themselves with the possibility of recovering from the defeat against Ireland and keeping Temuri Ketsbaia in a job.

My prediction? A 2-1 victory for Scotland to kick-start their qualifying campaign.
