Stephen Maguire picked up where he left off on Sunday as he cruised through to the final qualifying round for February's German Masters in Wigan yesterday.

The Milton pro won last weekend's Lisbon Open and continued his free-flowing form against Switzerland's Alex Ursenbascher, rolling in a 71 break and two 64s on his way to a comfortable 5-1 win.

Maguire meets Irishman David Morris in today's final qualifiers, while Musselburgh teenager Ross Muir takes on world number 14 Joe Perry following yesterday's superb 5-2 win over Stoke's Jamie Cope.

Muir hit four 60-plus breaks to eliminate the former top 16 player, but Alloa amateur Eden Sharav missed out after losing 5-3 to Nottingham's Michael Holt.
