RONNY DEILA has warned John Guidetti that Celtic will pursue other options while they await an answer from the Swede about his future.

The striker is on a season-long loan from Manchester City, with the Scottish champions keen to make his move permanent in the summer. Guidetti has intimated a willingness to stay at Celtic but so far no agreement has been struck and Deila is already considering alternatives in case Guidetti does not sign.

"Celtic also has options, it's not all one-way," said the Celtic manager. "We have to work to get Guidetti, but he also has to be happy that we want him. We have to look at different options if it doesn't happen, but, hopefully, it happens and I'm positive we can do it."
