Patrick Roberts stressed his team-first attitude as he looks to regain a regular place in Celtic's starting line-up.
The 19-year-old winger, on loan from Manchester City, was a key figure at the end of last season under former manager Ronny Deila, finishing with four goals in his last four games, but under Brendan Rodgers has been used mostly from the bench.
However, he started in the 3-0 Betfred Cup final win over Aberdeen at Hampden Park last weekend after Scott Sinclair pulled out with a hamstring problem - which also keeps the former Aston Villa forward out of the Ladbrokes Premiership game against Motherwell on Saturday.

Roberts hopes to be asked to contribute from the start at Fir Park but accepts his ambitions come second to those of the team.
He said: "It is a massive squad, a collective. Obviously Scotty was injured and I just try to play my best every time I get the opportunity.
"It can be (frustrating). I was playing in every game towards the back end of last season and was doing well and scoring goals. It was enjoyable.
"Now obviously I am not getting much game time this year but it is all about the team and when I play I have to do the best I can for the team.
"Of course it is all about playing games but it is also about the best for the team.

"The manager picks the team at the end of the day so I have to stick in there and when you get the chance to play, play as well as you can."
Celtic end their failed Champions League campaign with a trip to Manchester City on Tuesday night.
The Hoops drew 3-3 with City at Celtic Park and 1-1 with Borussia Monchengladbach in Germany, their only two points from five Group C fixtures.
Roberts is looking forward to his return to the Etihad Stadium.
"It will be good to go back," he said. "If given the opportunity I will relish it.
"We got a good result (against City) at Celtic Park.
"It has been a disappointing campaign but you have to put it down to tough teams, Barcelona, City and Monchengladbach.

"It has been a tough test but one everyone in the squad has learned from and will take it to further their career.
"We will finish it as strong as we can."
Before the trip south, Roberts expects a test at Motherwell as the Hoops try to protect their unbeaten record in Scotland.
He said: "Like every other team in the league, they will be trying to beat us.
"We know how to prepare for a game like that and we will be as best prepared as possible."
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
