WELL, that was something, wasn't it?

Of course, we're talking about Liverpool's magnificent comeback against Barcelona in the Champions League last night. Trailing 3-0 on aggregate after a comprehensive defeat at the Nou Camp, very few would have predicted this result. Even the most optimistic of Liverpool fans would have thought twice about sticking any money on it.

For those that missed last night's mesmerising match, have a quick look at the video below.

All caught up? Good. Now you know what all the fuss is about.

We've taken a look back at some of the Champions League's most memorable nights and picked out five games we feel are some of the best in the competitions history. In no particular order, here they are.

Liverpool 3-3 AC Milan (2005)

Perhaps the greatest comeback of them all, and certainly the most memorable. Trailing 3-0 at half-time after goals from Paolo Maldini and a brace from Hernan Crespo, Liverpool had it all to do in the second half. And do they did. Steven Gerrard inspired his team-mates to level the scores and Liverpool went on to win Ol' Big Ears in the eventual penalty shoot-out. That night in Istanbul will never be forgotten.

Deportivo 4-0 AC Milan (2004)

AC Milan's star-studded side breezed to a 4-1 win in the home leg and looked dead certs to progress to the sem-finals on Europe's premier club competition. With a three-goal advantage, the tie looked done and dusted but Deportivo La Coruna had other ideas. Walter Pandiani, Juan Valeron, Albert Luque and Gonzalo Fran fired the Spanish club to an unlikely victory over the Italians and simultaneously sealed their place in history.

Roma 3-0 Barcelona (2018)

Another bad night for the Catalans. Having secured a 4-1 lead at home, Messi and co looked to be cruising into the semi-finals when they pitched up at Rome's Stadio Olimpico. Edin Dzeko allowed the home fans to dare to dream with goal six minutes into the second leg, before Daniele De Rossi scored a second-half penalty to leave Roma in tantalising reach of a historic win. The winner came on 82 minutes when Kostas Manolas rised highest to steer home a corner, and the Italian capital erupted.

Real Madrid 1-4 Ajax (2019)

Real Madrid left the Johan Cruyff Arena with a 2-1 win in the first leg but were the second-best team on the night. Not that they cared, having won the previous three editions of the Champions League in an unprecedented fashion. The unfancied Ditch side travelled to the Bernabeu and pulled off one of th greatest results in their storied history. Goals from Hakim Ziyech, David Neres and Dusan Tadic fired the visitors to an unlikely lead before Marco Asensio pulled one back for the hosts. Just as Real looked like they might get back in it, Lasse Schone scored for Ajax minutes after Asensio's strike and sealed the extraordinary win.

Barcelona 6-1 Paris Saint-Germain (2017)

No team had ever overturned a 4-0 loss from the first leg of a Champions League knockout tie, but that's precisely what Barcelona did on this extraordinary night at the Nou Camp. Luis Suarez got the ball rolling early on and Layvin Kurzawa's own goal made it 2-0 shortly before half-time. Lionel Messi added a penalty shortly after the break, before Edinson Cavani looked to have settled the tie with a priceless away goal. With 88 minutes on the clock and needing three goals to progress, Barcelona looked dead and buried. And then the unthinkable happened.
