Lennon: Rangers are 'good at statements'
Neil Lennon has taken a swipe at Rangers saying the Ibrox club are "good at statements" during a press conference which saw him back himself to become the next permanent Celtic manager. He said: “I got Hibs into Europe and got them through two rounds for the first time since the 1970s. I think I can do the job alright.
“If people want to have another opinion that’s fine, but the evidence is there to the contrary.”
Discussing Rangers releasing a statement over Jon Flanagan Lennon said: “Look, they are good at making statements. We are above all that." (The Sun)

Rangers are thought to be eying up a move for Aberdeen's Max Lowe. It has been reported that Steven Gerrard has contacted Derby County manager Frank Lampard about the possibility of taking the 22-year-old left back on loan next season. (Daily Record)

Aberdeen keen to tie down Derek McInnes on a long-term deal
Aberdeen are thought to be considering a long-term contract for Derek McInnes to tie down the manager to the club. Aberdeen vice chairman Dave Cormack said: “His aspirations would be to coach in the English Premier League but he’s totally committed to Aberdeen. Jordan Jones has posted a farewell message to Kilmarnock fans ahead of his move to Rangers. Posting a picture of himself celebrating a Kilmarnock goal on Instagram, Jones said: "Three unforgettable years that have changed my life. "I will be forever grateful to Kilmarnock Football Club for giving me the opportunity when nobody else did, and for helping me become the person I am today." (Various)
