2019 has been quite a year for Jake Hastie. After spending the first half of the season on loan at Alloa in the Championship, the 20-year-old returned to Fir Park and was given an oportunity in the first team by Stephen Robinson and it's fair to say he's made the most of it. 12 matches later Hastie has replayed the faith shown in him by his manager with six goals and one assist; not bad for a player making his first steps in the Scottish top flight. As much as Hastie's goalscoring form has caught the eye, it's the right winger's dribbling ability that truly sets him apart from his contemporaries. Only Gboly Ariyibi, Connor McLennan and Jordan Jones attempt more dribbles per 90 minutes than Hastie in the Scottish Premiership.

The Motherwell winger's impressive form since January has earned Hastie a move to Ibrox this summer, as Rangers manager Steven Gerrard continues to overhaul his playing squad. Whether or not Hastie will be able to make the step up to a bigger club remains to be seen, but the raw ingredients are certainly in place for the 20-year-old to star for Rangers next season.
