CELTIC have tonight completed the signing of Rapid Vienna left back Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo.

The 24-year-old Belgian defender has signed a four-year deal with the treble Treble winners.

His Austrian club, who signed him from Brugge for £800,000 in 2017, were keen to keep the attacking full-back.

However, they have agreed a fee which will rise to £3m with add-ons with their Scottish counterparts.

The player arrived in Glasgow earlier today and has put pen to paper after passing a medical.

Bolingoli-Mbombo has been signed ahead of the UEFA deadline for Celtic's opening Champions League qualifier against FK Sarajevo on Tuesday.

He is the third new addition to Neil Lennon's squad this summer following the capture of Christopher Jullien from Toulouse for £7m and Luca Connell from Bolton.
