Napoli won't move for "really good player" Kieran Tierney
Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti has ruled out a move for Celtic defender Kieran Tierney.
The Italian manager revealed his admiration for KT and hailed him as a "really good player".
However he also explained that, with two left-backs at the club already, Ancelotti has maintained that 22-year-old Tierney will remain at Celtic from Napoli's point of view.
"Am I aware of Kieran Tierney", Ancelotti posed.
"I know him and he is a really good player. He is a really good young left back. But he is a Celtic player.
"We are looking for a lot of players for this coming season, but he is a Celtic player and we have two good left backs. But honestly I can say he is a really good player."
Rangers dealt Kent blow
Liverpool's Ryan Kent will not be allowed to leave on loan to Rangers.
The winger has been one of Steven Gerrard's main targets this summer - with the Light Blues gaffer insisting he'd happily wait until the last SECOND to bring him back.
But Reds manager Jurgen Klopp was quick to tell gathering media at Liverpool vs. Napoli yesterday that Kent would likely leave Anfield on a permanent transfer.
Asked if he would be prepared to allow Kent to go back to Rangers, Klopp said: “If Rangers can buy him.
"His time is over I think for giving him on loan. At an age like this, players need to find a place where they can settle.
"That’s probably the moment, but we will see. A loan is not on."

Hearts miss out on Nombil over work-permit issues
Ghanaian midfielder Cletus Nombil has been rejected a work-permit application to join Hearts.
The teen impressed the Jambos in training this summer and they attempted to sign him up.
A four-man panel voted 2-2 on Nombil acquiring a visa to work in the country when a majority is needed for the application to be a success. (Evening News)
Dembele wants to stay
Moussa Dembele has ignored Manchester United speculation for now as he insists his top priority is to be Lyon's main man this season.
Celtic will be due a cash windfall if the striker leaves France for the English Premier League after their sale included serious add-ons on top of the £20m they received.
But the hitman said: "The most important thing is that we won.
"I want to be an undisputed starter this season.
"I’m going to have perform well consistently. I want to have a great season with Lyon." (Various)
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
