ANOTHER week, another compelling round of fixtures from the Scottish Premiership.
We're now three matches into the 2019/20 season and the third round of games saw Celtic and Rangers maintain their winning starts to the league season, Livingston thump Ross County in the Highlands and Motherwell come out on top in the season's first Lanarkshire derby.
We've now updated our Manager Power Rankings, where we judge managers based on how well they're performing compared to how well they should be doing, after the latest round of games. You can learn how it all works by reading this article.
So, three weeks into the new league season, here are the current standings.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon is leading the way as it stands after gaining a single point following his side's 3-1 win over Hearts on Sunday afternoon. The Northern Irishman is now on an overall tally of +5, having previously benefitted from the bonus points accrued for the two wins of more than three goals against St Johnstone and Motherwell.
Just behind Lennon with a score of +4 is Rangers manager Steven Gerrard, who was rewarded with a single point for Rangers' victory over St Mirren in Paisley. Of course, this could all change on Sunday, when Rangers host Celtic in the first Old Firm derby of the season. A win for either manager would ensure they remain ahead of their counterpart.
In joint-second place we have Livingston boss Gary Holt; currently the only other top-flight manager who is yet to see his side lose this season. Livi travelled to Dingwall for what looked like a difficult away day, only to swat Ross County aside in dominant performance. The West Lothian side won 4-1 and Holt was rewarded with four points; three for the win, as the visitors were expected to lose, and another bonus point for winning by more than three goals.

At the other end of the standings we have Kilmarnock boss Angelo Alessio, currently propping up the rest with a score of -5. The Italian is still to record his first league win as manager of the Ayrshire club and watched his side play out a goalless draw with Aberdeen at the weekend. The home side were expected to win, so Alessio loses a point while Derek McInnes gains one.
Craig Levein's difficult start to the season continued on Sunday as Hearts left Celtic Park after losing 3-1. The home side were expected to win so Levein is only docked a point, but the former Scotland manager is yet to record a positive result in the Premiership so far this campaign and is currently sitting on a tally of -3.
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
