NEW Celtic signing Greg Taylor has given his first interview since signing for the Scottish champions on Monday night.
The left-back told Celtic TV of his delight that the deal got over the line and Taylor hopes that the expectations from the Celtic supporters will bring out the best in him.
Taylor said: "I'm delighted. It's been a whirlwind of a day. I'm over the moon to be here and thankfully it's over the line.
"As soon as I knew about the interest I was desparate to come. It's been a great day. Certainly, now that it's done.
"Celtic is a massive club, everyone knows that. I'm here to win trophies and it's as simple as that. I can't wait to be a part of it.

"Thankfully I'm here now and that's me a Celtic player. I'm pinching myself but I'm definitely over the moon.
"Kieran [Tierney] has done amazing and got a massive move to Arsenal and I'm sure he'll be over the moon. But I'm not going to compare myself to Kieran. That's not fair to him and it's not fair to myself. I'm here and I'm hopefully going to impress the fans and impress the manager.
"A club of this size wants to win trophies and they have done over the last few years. I'm hoping to play my part in winning more trophies.
"Callum [McGregor], Ryan [Christie] and James [Forrest] have been away just now so they have been asking me and seeing what's happening but I just can't wait to be part of the boys as a Celtic player. It's a dream come true.
"We [Scotland] have got massive games coming on Friday and Monday with Belgium and Russia so we know what our job is with Scotland. Hopefully, we can get points on the table and see if we can qualify.
"As a footballer you want to win games and it's no different here. The fans want to win every game. I'm looking forward to that pressure and it will hopefully bring the best out of myself and it will be a massive honour."
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
