RANGERS briefly went top of the Premiership standings on Sunday afternoon following a fairly routine 2-0 win over Motherwell at Fir Park.
Nikola Katic put the visitors ahead in the first half after he got on the end of compatriot Borna Barisic's outswinging corner before Alfredo Morelos doubled Rangers' advantage after the interval.
However, the Colombia internationalist was then shown a second yellow card in the ensuing celebrations and Steven Gerrard's side finished the match with 10 men.
