RANGERS will face Uzbekistan champions Lokomotiv Tashkent at their Dubai training camp.
Steven Gerrard's side rounded off the first half of the campaign with Old Firm victory at Celtic Park on Sunday as they headed into the winter break just two points adrift at the top of the Premiership.
Gerrard will put his players through their paces in Dubai from January 6 to 13 and the trip will round off with a friendly against the AFC Champions League outfit next Saturday afternoon.
Gerrard said: “We are looking forward to the game against Lokomotiv Tashkent at the end of our warm-weather training camp in Dubai.
"The match will be an important part of our preparations for the second half of the season and we expect it to be a competitive friendly and good test for our squad.”
