SFA ignore compliance officer proposal
The SFA have ignored a proposal, led by Celtic and Rangers, to streamline the controversial compliance officer role for seven months. According to the Sunday Mail, plans were put forward last June to streamline the role of the compliance officer. (Sunday Mail)
Neil Lennon keen on Wanyama
Neil Lennon has admitted he would like to bring Victor Wanyama back to Celtic this month – but stressed the Spurs midfielder’s wages and the imminent arrival of Ismaila Soro mean it is unlikely to happen. He said: “The problem with Victor is where do you fit him in with bringing Soro in, if we have Brown, Bitton, McGregor, Ntcham. I don't think that's going to be an option. QPR scout Hickey
Queens Park Rangers sent a scout to watch Hearts full-back Aaron Hickey yesterday, however the teenager was taken off on 27 minutes after picking up a knock in the win over Airdrie. (Various)

Foderingham looking to move on
Wes Foderingham has revealed that he feels he has lost the last two years of his career at Rangers - and indicated he will look to move on in the summer in order to get a regular start. Foderingham played the William Hill Scottish Cup fourth round tie against Stranraer at Ibrox on Friday night and helped Steven Gerrard’s side to keep a clean sheet in a 2-0 triumph. (The Herald)
Hibs missed out on Henderson
Hibs reportedly failed to in a bid to bring 2016 Scottish Cup hero Liam Henderson back to Easter Road, with the midfielder instead moving to Empoli on loan from Hellas Verona.
Celtic new boy 'like Vardy'
New Celtic signing Patryk Klimala has said that he is similar to Jamie Vardy, telling the Sunday Mail "You can compare me to Jamie Vardy maybe 90 per cent."
Aberdeen near Gallagher deal
Aberdeen have agreed a fee with Ross County for 18-year-old Mark Gallagher with the Newcastle-born midfielder set to undergo a medical at Pittodrie on Monday. Speaking ahead of the potential move, Derek McInnes said: “I’m reluctant to talk about that but we have agreed a fee with Ross County and he will be here next week.
“He’s a player we have watched against our own development team and are really impressed with him. We think he is a young player who has got a chance so that’s why we have brought him into our development squad.” (Evening Express)
