Celtic v Rangers to be held in 2021
All of next season's Celtic v Rangers games could be held in 2021 to avoid them having to be played behind closed doors. The Scottish Sun reports that SPFL chiefs are considering making changes to the Scottish football fixture calendar to avoid playing Glasgow derbies behind closed doors. The hope is that by the time the Celtic v Rangers clashes come around in 2021, Government rules about large public gatherings are relaxed. (The Sun)
Stendel has unfinished business with Hearts
Daniel Stendel has confirmed he is out of contract with Hearts but insists he has unfinished business with Tynecastle club. He told Hearts TV:"At the moment I have no contract in the Championship if Hearts play there next season. But I think we will speak with Ann over the next few days when all the decisions have been made. At the moment the situation is really difficult. But the task is not over." (Various)
Lennon open to 'hub stadium' plan
Neil Lennon has admitted he would welcome the chance for Celtic to complete an unprecedented fourth consecutive treble behind closed doors at a “hub” stadium as a curtain-raiser to the new season. (The Herald)
Hagi deal done
The signing of Romanian winger Ianis Hagi to Rangers has been sealed for £4m, according to his agent. His agent said: "Ianis has just signed for one of the most important clubs in Europe. The deal is complete. "I would describe Rangers as the Juventus of Scotland. I understand completely why Ianis has chosen to sign for them." (Sunday Mail)
