GERMAN giants Bayern Munich have reportedly joined the transfer battle to sign Hearts youngster Aaron Hickey.

Celtic have already been credited with an interest in the Scotland starlet and Lazio and AC Milan have also been linked.

Hickey, 17, is entering the last year of his Tynecastle contract and is expected to move on this summer with Daniel Stendel’s side staring at relegation.

The Daily Mail today report that Bundesliga table toppers Bayern Munich are the latest club to be keeping tabs on the left-back.

Ann Budge had previously said that Hickey would not be leaving Gorgie unless a big money offer was made.

But due to Hearts’ likely drop to the Championship it is unlikely that the former Celtic youth will sign a new deal.

Bayern Munich are no strangers to the Scottish market after signing defender Liam Morrison from Celtic last year.
