BRENDAN RODGERS is looking to offload Nigeria internationalist Kelechi Iheanacho to raise funds for a move for Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard, according to reports.

The Daily Mail reckon that the Leicester City boss is keen for a reunion with the player he brought to Parkhead for a record fee, with the Foxes valuing the Frenchman at around £40 million.

It's believed that Rodgers is hoping that his exisiting relationship with the 22-year-old will convince Edouard to sign for his former manager.

The Mail say that Premier League trio Arsenal, Leeds United and Everton are also interested in Celtic's top scorer last season.

Iheanacho joined Leicester for a fee of £25m in 2017 but has struggled to nail down a spot in Rodgers' starting XI, with Aston Villa said to be considering a move for the 23-year-old.
