JAK ALNWICK 7: Couldn’t be blamed for Rogic’s opener and had very little else to do in first half. Two terrific saves from Edouard and Turnbull early in the second before the roof fell in.
MARCUS FRASER 6: Performed his bread and butter duties well enough until late collapse.
CONOR MCCARTHY 6: Solid first hour or so from the centre-back, who helped to snuff out the threat of Ajeti, but could offer no resistance when visitors stepped it up a gear late on.
JOE SHAUGHNESSY 6: Captain gave his usual whole-hearted performance, and may be frustrated that a few set-pieces he won in Celtic box weren’t picked up on by teammates.
ETHAN ERHAHON 5: Normally adds some steel to the St Mirren midfield, but didn’t really get involved and was chasing shadows a lot of the time. Game passed him by.
RYAN FLYNN 5: Normally one of St Mirren’s brightest players, but struggled to have much of an influence on the match. Night topped off as he bundled Taylor over for Celtic penalty.
ILKAY DURMUS 5: Hero from Celtic Park couldn’t replicate that match-winning performance here. Allowed Rogic to run off him for opener.
JAKE DOYLE-HAYES 6: Always neat and tidy on the ball, but didn’t do enough to really have an effect on the game.
DYLAN CONNOLLY 5: Almost got in just before the break only to be denied by Kenny, but it was a rare flash of a threat. Well policed before being replaced by MacPherson.
JAMIE MCGRATH 4: Forced from the action early on after landing awkwardly on his shoulder, which was a huge blow for both him and his team having been such a key figure of late.
JONATHAN OBIKA 6: Isolated figure for long spells, but willing to take the game to the Celtic centre-backs when he could. Perhaps a little too keen at times, getting away with a real late one on Welsh.

KYLE MCALLISTER 5: Tried to provide a bit of drive from midfield.
CAMMY MACPHERSON 4: No real impact.
LEE ERWIN 3: Barely had a touch.
