After a disappointing start - losing 2-0 at home to Lyon - Steven Gerrard's men have it all to do.
The Gers take on last season's surprise package in Sparta Prague, as the so-called whipping boys thrashed Celtic with an 8-1 aggregated scoreline.
The Scottish champions will therefore need to be at the top of their game to come away from this Group A tie with a positive result.
They will be wary of some familiar names who caused the Hoops severe damage, including ex-Kilmarnock attacker David Moberg Karlsson.
