CELTIC ace Christopher Jullien is reportedly on course to return from long-term injury before the end of November.

The Frenchman has been out for over ten-months after sustaining a cruciate ligament injury against Dundee United last December, just before the turn of the year.

In recent weeks the £7million defender has returned to training with Ange Postecoglou's Celtic first team squad.

Now, according to the Scottish Sun, the club are hopeful Jullien will be ready for a return to action before the month is out.

The report says the 28-year-old is making good progress with his rehabilitation.

Although, it's said Postecoglou won't put the long-term absentee under any uneccessary pressure upon his much-awaited comeback.

Another two weeks of training is said to leave a comeback to playing football on the cards, with first team action on the horizon before Christmas.

The return of the experienced defender will be a huge boost to Postecoglou.

Jullien will provide more competition for places in the backline, with Cameron Carter-Vickers, Carl Starfelt and Stephen Welsh battling for the defensive slots at centre-half as things stand.
