John Bennett addresses Rangers loan offers
JOHN BENNETT insists potential lenders can't match the terms granted by Rangers' band of benefactors after revealing the champions had received a handful of loan offers from potential outside investors.
The Ibrox deputy chairman was speaking at the RIFC plc Annual General Meeting on Tuesday as shareholders gathered in person once again after a virtual event last year.
Rangers reported an operating loss of £23.5million for the financial year to June 30, 2020 as the cost of the Covid pandemic hit hard despite their on-field success and 55th Premiership crown.

Rangers provide player contract update
RANGERS sporting director Ross Wilson has provided an update on player contracts at today's AGM.
It comes amid uncertainty over the future of central defender Connor Goldson.
The English defender has been linked with a return south but he has come out and said that he would like to stay at Ibrox beyond this season.

James Bisgrove addresses 'normalised' Rangers kit deal
JAMES BISGROVE is confident Rangers are on the brink of a 'normalised' kit operation once again following the first season of their deal with Castore.
The champions announced a long-term partnership with the sportswear firm last term and supporters have snapped up official merchandise in huge numbers as Rangers have regained their high street presence and opened a new Ibrox store.
Bisgrove addressed the Castore deal at the RIFC plc Annual General Meeting on Tuesday morning and reckons Rangers are now in a strong position once again following their tumultuous relationship with Sports Direct.

Stewart Robertson insists Rangers do not need to sell players
STEWART ROBERTSON insists Rangers do not need to sell any of their players as he revealed the Ibrox club are "close to financial stability".
The managing director was speaking at today's AGM and he backed up quotes made by sporting director Ross Wilson last week.
Wilson told the media that new manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst will not be forced into selling stars as he outlined the club's player trading model going forward.

Rangers MD Stewart Robertson makes Ibrox admission over disabled access
STEWART ROBERTSON has vowed Rangers will improve the matchday experience for disabled supporters after admitting the champions 'haven't covered themselves in glory' over some Ibrox facilities recently.
The Light Blues managing director was quizzed by fans at Rangers' Annual General Meeting on Tuesday morning.
The issue of access and viewing arrangements for wheelchair users and other disabled supporters was a key point of business at the shareholder summit.
